Uganda Embassy Attestation

Uganda Embassy Attestation is the process of authenticating documents issued in India for use in Uganda.

Types of Documents for Attestation:

  1. Educational documents (degrees, diplomas, transcripts)
  2. Non-educational documents (birth certificates, marriage certificates, divorce certificates)
  3. Commercial documents (invoices, certificates of origin)

Step-by-Step Process:

  1. HRD (Human Resource Development) Attestation: Get documents attested from HRD department of issuing state.
  2. MEA (Ministry of External Affairs) Attestation: Submit HRD-attested documents to MEA.
  3. Uganda High Commission Attestation: Submit MEA-attested documents to Uganda High Commission.

  4. Visa copy (if applicable)

Fees and Processing Time:

  • Educational documents: ₹3,000 – ₹5,000
  • Non-educational documents: ₹2,500 – ₹4,000
  • Commercial documents: ₹4,000 – ₹6,000
  • Processing time: Typically 3-5 working days (normal), 1-2 working days (expedited)
